About Creative Calling

Hi, I’m Lynne — the designer and maker behind Creative Calling.

I spent years working in Finance — a world of spreadsheets, structure, and strategy. In 2024, I stepped away from it all, ready to follow a quieter calling: one rooted in creativity, connection, and heart. I’ve always found it hard to put deep feelings into words — so I started making things that could.

Creative Calling is my way of anchoring intangible emotions — love, pride, gratitude — into meaningful keepsakes. Each piece is handcrafted in small batches from my studio in Surrey, BC, using layered acrylic and natural maple wood. The materials may be simple, but the sentiment behind them runs deep.

Why I Started

In 2024, I retired early from a corporate career to spend more time with my new granddaughter and explore my lifelong love of making. As I watched my daughter step into motherhood, I was reminded of what matters most — the little, intentional moments that make people feel seen, loved, and celebrated.

That’s what I want my work to reflect. Creative Calling is my way of helping others anchor those fleeting, heartfelt moments into meaningful keepsakes — made slowly, thoughtfully, and with love.
